Mindfulness for all

Mindfulness for all

Would you like to learn to be 10% happier, or perhaps even more?

Join us for a 2-hour introduction training in mindfulness. It’s a wonderful practice originally developed by Dr. Kabat-Zinn to help people suffering from stress and chronic pain. It is now being taught all over the world as a coping skill to manage all types of stress and to bring more joy into people’s lives.

Learn how to access and let go of the mind traps that keep you locked in stressful patterns of reactivity. Come develop a skill that will help keep stress at bay, reset your physiological baseline, and integrate your practice in daily life. You’ll feel calmer, happier and more aware of the present moment. This is an experiential seminar where everyone present will actively participate in the exercises.

We are also offering Mindfulness Meditation. These are one hour meditation sessions.

Led by Julia Brochocka, Mindfulness Instructor, at the AMI office (5800 Decarie).

These workshops are free and open to both people living with mental illness and their families and loved ones, but space is limited and you must register in advance.

Future dates to be determined; sign up below to be added to our waiting list.
