Caregivers Over 55: What will happen to your ill loved one when they outlive you?

Do you have a loved one who lives with serious mental or physical illness? This can take a serious toll on your health and wellbeing. One of the most common and important concerns we address is what will happen to your loved one when they outlive you? It is emotionally difficult to face your own mortality, but paying attention to this now can help set your mind at ease for your loved one’s future.

Our free Caregivers 55+ workshop will allow you to explore ways to adjust to getting older and how to share or pass along caregiving responsibilities. We will also discuss experiences, feelings, and thoughts on this phase of caregiving and provide an opportunity to better understand the difficulties that can come with a diminishing capacity to care for a family member with serious mental or physical challenges.

Caregivers over the age of 55 will benefit the most from this workshop, but if you are younger and are actively concerned about a loved one, then we may have a place for you here too.
