Depression

Depression can be debilitating, can appear at any age, and is one of the most common and treatable mental illnesses. Up to 20% of the population may be affected by depression in their lifetime.

Psychosis is a medical condition that is characterized by a person’s loss of contact with reality. It affects their thoughts, perceptions, and/or behaviours. Psychosis is commonly associated with schizophrenia, and sometimes with depression and bipolar disorder. It can also be a result of illicit drug use.
