AMI-Quebec offers many programs for caregivers and some for the person suffering from the mental illness. This section of our website details our various programs.

Education for families

We offer education sessions about mood and thought disorders and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Support groups

An average of 12 support groups are held each month for specific illnesses. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Counselling

Meeting with a counselor can help you manage your relationship with your afflicted loved one.

Teleworkshops

Held over the telephone, teleworkshops feature an expert speaking on a specific topic and a Q&A open to all participants.

Roundtable discussions

Either in person at the AMI office or via videoconferencing, themed sessions guided by a professional are held five times a year.

 Education for schools

Presentations are offered to schools and community organizations giving an overview of mental illnesses, warning signs and coping strategies. A volunteer speaker tells their story on overcoming mental illness.
