In this experiential workshop, caregivers are invited to gently reconnect with their inner world through movement and the expressive arts. Together, we’ll use simple embodied practices to explore what’s present within us; the emotions, images, and sensations that shape our caregiving experience. From these explorations, participants will create a self-portrait through drawing and brief writing to reflect on how they see and feel themselves in their caregiving role. No art or movement experience is required, just curiosity and openness. This workshop offers a creative space for self-awareness, expression, renewal, and connection.
Informed by the Life/Art Process®, this approach explores the body’s wisdom through movement and imagination. Facilitated by Sarah Varichon, a certified movement-based expressive arts therapy practitioner trained at the Tamalpa Institute (California).
