Having a loved one who suffers from a mental illness can be challenging. Here are some of the ways in which AMI-Québec can help you (please click on the blue links for more information).

All our programs are free! Some are held online, some are held in person at our office in Montreal.

– Support GroupsWeekly sessions where confidential discussion and sharing are encouraged in a small group setting.

– Workshops: Workshops to help you better cope with mental illness in your loved one or in yourself.

SOS-Famille CounsellingA short term, one on one service that addresses situations or problems that family caregivers are encountering when they have a loved one living with a mental illness.

– Resource List: An extensive list of resources in Montreal and beyond for help with specific illnesses, housing, legal rights etc.

Young Carers: Support for youth who are affected by or care for a loved one who has a chronic illness, disability, mental health or substance use issue and/or problems related to old age or language barriers.

Family Peer Support: Family peer support workers support families who use the healthcare services of the territory of the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal (CCOMTL).

– Share & Care Newsletter:  A quarterly newsletter including information on various services, coping strategies, etc.
