Author Discussion – Mental Illness: A Family Affair

In this special event, authors Susan Grundy and Susan Doherty will draw on their acclaimed books to explore the complex realities faced by family caregivers— the grief, the exhaustion, the invisibility, and the limits of what families can do.

Hands On Practice for Challenging Situations

Do you feel stuck and scared when it comes to interacting with your loved one who lives with mental illness? In this workshop we will practice how to deal with difficult situations that come up in our day to day lives.

Express Yourself!

This new workshop will offer family carers a safe space to acknowledge, express, process, and share their caregiving experience, using various types of art mediums. No artistic, musical, or writing talent required!

Boundaries & Setting Limits

It is tough to set and understand boundaries in relationships. In this workshop, family caregivers will practice setting boundaries while respecting their loved one's limits.
