When you have a loved one living with mental illness, loss and grief can take many forms, like:
- Grieving the loss of who your loved one once was
- Grieving the life you once had, before you became a caregiver
- Loss of a relationship due to not speaking, a fight, or ghosting
- Loss through death
Grief, loss, and bereavement are large, deep and complex issues that are unique to each person’s experience. This workshop for family carers looks at a small tip of the iceberg; it will include information for better understanding and assignments to help you build resilience.
