We are looking for a social media content creator and writer

Come and work with a small and dynamic team in a well-respected mental health organization. AMI-Quebec helps families cope with mental illness in a loved one.

This job is for 30 hours a week, $17 an hour, and will go from June 1-August 2, 2022. Your work hours are flexible but you must be available during our opening hours (9am-5pm). As our office is physically closed due to the pandemic, you will be working from home. 

 

Based on the candidate’s skills and interests, they will take on social media content projects. These might include:

  • Creating content for TikTok for the year ahead (either behind the camera, in front of the camera, or both)
  • Creating Instagram posts for the year ahead
  • Writing articles for our upcoming newsletters
  • Creating content for our SoundCloud and YouTube channels

We want to work with YOUR strengths! The person we will hire will be:

  • Computer literate
  • Very organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to follow instructions and work independently
  • Creative, full of ideas, and good at problem-solving

You have:
Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
A working proficiency in French
Knowledge of and an interest in mental illness
