Supporting a loved one through the experience of psychosis can be a scary and isolating experience. This workshop will open up the space for you to share and listen to others’ experiences, help you identify necessary resources, and reconnect you with a sense of hope. You are not alone!
Psychosis is a medical condition that is characterized by a person’s loss of contact with reality. It affects their thoughts, perceptions, and/or behaviours. Psychosis is commonly associated with schizophrenia, and sometimes with depression or bipolar disorder. It can also be a result of drug use.
