Navigating your relationship with a loved one who lives with mental health challenges can be difficult! As a family caregiver, you may find yourself stuck in a dance that leaves you feeling discouraged, alone, and often frustrated: what’s happening that prevents us from getting out of this impasse?
It is common for caregivers to associate their relational difficulties to the mental health of their loved one, hoping and expecting them to change in order to improve the relationship. However, relationships are, by definition, a two-way street. Both parties contribute.
This new, three-session workshop will offer an opportunity FOR YOU to explore YOUR contribution, and reflect on your past experiences and their possible impact on your relationships at the present time. Recognizing your part could help adjust your reactions and improve your relationship with your loved one.
If you are interested in this three session in-person workshop (you must commit to all three), complete this form and our facilitator Sylvie will call you to assess whether this workshop fits your current situation and expectations.
