(Formerly called Exploring YOUR Contributions in Challenging Relationships)

Navigating your relationship with a loved one with mental health challenges can be difficult!

As a caregiver, you may find yourself stuck in a ‘dance’ that leaves you feeling discouraged, alone, and often frustrated.

Caregivers often attribute their relational difficulties to the mental health of their loved one. For example, they may feel that they can’t apply and uphold boundaries because of their loved one’s inability or unwillingness to comply with such boundaries. However, relationships are, by definition, a two-way street, and both parties play a part.

Would you like to reflect on your part in your relationship with your loved one?

This 3 session workshop does not focus on skills (i.e. how to apply boundaries, etc).

Instead, through the use of role play, we will explore your part in relationships and how it impacts your loved ones. Increased awareness of your input can help you remove some of the obstacles that often compromise such relationships.
