Postpartum Depression Resources

While it is normal to experience some mood swings, anxiety, sadness, and/or irritability following the arrival of a new baby, if these symptoms persist past a few weeks, it may be postpartum depression (PPD). PPD can affect fathers too.

While AMI-Quebec helps families cope with mental health challenges and illnesses in a loved one, we do not have specific resources for PPD. Please consult the resources below for help.

For perinatal loss, click here for our Grief resource list.
