Schizophrenia Resources

Schizophrenia affects mental processes such as thinking and judgment, sensory perception, and the ability to appropriately interpret and respond to situations. About one percent of the adult population has schizophrenia.

If you have a loved one who is suffering from schizophrenia, AMI-Quebec can help! Click HERE for information about our family counselling program, HERE for our workshops, or HERE for our support groups (Family and Friends for caregivers; Kaleidoscope for people living with any mental illness; Young Adults for anyone aged 18-30 who is struggling with their mental health or who cares about someone who is; Queer Group for 2SLGBTQIA+ people who either have their own mental health challenges or who care about someone who does).

For organizations that can provide more information on and help for schizophrenia, please see below, and click here for our psychosis resource list.
